Raw data of OpenAg community forum discussions - From April, 2016 to September 2019

This is the database obtained from a scraping process on the former OpenAg forum. The forum was closed in late April following the shutdown of the project by MIT given some ethical concerns. The community, however, was very active and important information was created

There are two files: all_raw and users_description.

for ALL_RAW.CSV:

It has the following columns: topic_creator, author_name, text, mentions, time_1, time_2, title

topic creator: user who created a topic on the community

author name: user who replied a post topic on the community

text: the comment itself

mentions: if the comment mentions a specific user

time_1: I am not sure of the reason but probably because of some updates on the topic or on the forum there are two timestamps (in some cases). If that's the case, time_2 should be replaced by time_1. It refers to the moment a topic or comment were made.

time_2: the moment a topic or comment were made. (check if there is a time_1)

title: The name of the topic including the category it belongs to.

FOR USERS_DESCRIPTION.CSV

It has only the description of the users. The usernames were removed.
