Oral bacteria have been proved to be associated with pancreatic cancer, but the specific mechanism has not been clearly illustrated. In our study, thirty-seven saliva samples in total were collected with ten from pancreatic cancer (PC) patients, seventeen from benign pancreatic disease (BPD) patients, and ten from healthy controls (HC). oral bacteria profiles of HC, PC and BPD groups were characterized by 16s rDNA high-throughput sequencing and bioinformatics analysis.
