Kinase Domain Mutation Analysis

This protocol uses RNA as the starting material, followed by nested PCR to amplify the fusion transcript, which is subsequently used as a template for NGS. This newly developed assay can be used for kinase domain mutation analysis from clinical samples with a very good sensitivity of 2%, which is in the well-acceptable range of 1-3%, and is available on the commonly used IonTorrent platform.
