Kidney dysfunction was defined as low eGFR (2) or increased UACR (≥30 mg/g) or both. UACR = urine albumin-creatinine ratio; eGFR = estimated glomerular filtration rate. *Multivariate adjusted for sex, age, NIHSS at admission, baseline SBP, and surgical intervention. In the multivariate model for the urinary albumin level, the eGFR level was additionally adjusted. In the multivariate model for the eGFR level, the urinary albumin level was additionally adjusted. Hematoma volume was further adjusted when hemorrhagic stroke was analyzed separately.
