Dataset of Yunnan soil species based on the Second National Soil Survey

The dataset is an Excel file with a data volume of 1.34 MB, mainly containing 5 subject data sheets: (1) soil classification, listing the soil classes, soil groups, subgroups and genus to which soil species belong in Xinjiang. (2) basic information on soil species, containing information on the distribution area, area, main traits and production performance of soil species. (3) landscape of typical profiles of soil species, including information on geographical location, topography, vegetation and climate, as well as profile constitutions and parent material type. (4) information on the occurrence layer of the typical profile of soil species, which is mainly the field investigation information on each occurrence layer of the typical profile; (5) physicochemical properties of typical profiles of soil species; (6) Statistical physicochemical properties of profiles of soil species; (7) 2 supplementary tables with data on the mechanical composition (Kaczynski system) of typical profile and data on the mechanical composition of profiles (International and Kaczynski systems).
