Complete genome sequence of Stenotrophomonas riyadhensis ESTM1A_MKCTX4_10a (isolate PB3), a multidrug-resistant strain recovered from the sediments of a clean river (Las Estacas) in Central Mexico (Morelos), as described in PMID: 28861062. The strain was classified using the phylogenomic analysis pipeline GET_PHYLOMARKERS (PMID:29765358). This organism is used as a model strain in our Center for Genome Sciences - UNAM (CCG-UNAM) laboratory to study host-microbe interactions. It has been shown to replicate within Acanthamoeba castellanii phagosomes using the bioassay published in PMID:38319117.
