Microbial diversity in whole fly bodies affected by microbiome transplants

The goal is to assess the impact of microbiome transplants on the microbiome composition of Drosophila melanogaster. The flies were fed microbiomes generated from both young and old flies of the same sex and strain. Whole fly bodies were frozen and processed to determine these changes both with treatment and with age.
