资源简介:
I had heard that a pair of Brolgas were nesting in a swamp on Nangana property. So with a warning telephone call a few days previously, I set off after lunch fully equipped to take what photos I could get...
So begins the second Australian field diary of Arthur Graham Brown, a man who would later become the president of the Royal Australasian Ornithologists’ Union (RAOU) and an Honorary Associate of the National Museum of Victoria.
This is the second of five field diaries produced by A. Graham Brown between 1947 and 1957. The diaries are rich in descriptive narrative and are dotted with photographs and hand-drawn maps. They are an invaluable record of the species he encountered on his many field expeditions.
