The Xray spectral analysis of new Compton thick (CT) active galacticnuclei (AGN) represents a fundamental step to understand the physics ofthe obscuring material surrounding accreting supermassive black holes.However, at the present day, CTAGN remain extremely hard to detect.Implementing previously successful selection criteria, we propose to target2 lowredshift candidate CTAGN from the SwiftBAT 150month catalog withjoint 50 ks NuSTAR and 30 ks XMMNewton observations each.
