In situ sea ice geophysical and electromagnetic data from the Newfoundland coast in spring 2017

This dataset contains an opportunistic dataset of in situ geophysical and electromagnetic observations of sea ice off the northeast coast of Newfoundland. It includes temperature and salinity profiles from ice cores at 3 different study sites, 1 photomosaic from a DJI Phantom drone (not available in PDC), and 1 set of Radiometer and C-Band Scatterometer scans from one of our study sties. Within Barber et al., (in review) the in situ data was used to verify that we were in fact sampling multiyear sea ice and describe the anomalous sea ice cover that presented hazardous conditions off the northeast coast of Newfoundland in spring 2017.
