HeapLens: Reproducibility Artifact

HeapLens: An IDE-Integrated Tool for Heap Dump Analysis with In-Editor Source Bridging and LLM-Assisted Diagnosis.

memory-leak-lab/ — a plain Java 11 Maven project that produced every reference dump. Includes LeakLabApp (an e-commerce backend simulator wired with ten production-grade memory-leak patterns) and SizedDumpGenerator (a controlled allocator that emits a heap dump of a target size).

Seven reference HPROF heap dumps cited in the paper: bench-100mb, bench-500mb, bench-5gb, bench-8gb (controlled allocations) and leak-baseline, leak-current, leak-demo (e-commerce simulator runs at 1.5 GB, 3.2 GB, and 15.5 GB).

dump-hashes.txt — SHA256 hashes pinning every dump for byte-level verification (shasum -a 256 -c dump-hashes.txt).

source_bridge_check.md — manual Source-Bridging validation evidence cited in Section 5 of the paper.

README_REVIEWERS.md — a 30-second reviewer quickstart that walks through hash verification and a heap-to-source jump using only the bundled 100 MB dump.

heaplens-issta-supplementary-code.zip — the same bundle in compact form for HotCRP supplementary upload.

  Reference dumps were generated on OpenJDK 21.0.10 on macOS 26 ARM64. Dumps regenerated on a different JDK or OS will not byte-match (JVM  internal layout differs) but should reproduce the leak-suspect rankings shown in the paper.
