Sex differences in methylation in the developing pre optic area. Rattus norvegicus breed:Sprague Dawley

DNA was extracted from the pre optic area to look at genome-wide sex and estradiol-induced differences in DNA methylation. We found that more sites were highly methylated in females compared to males and estradiol-treated females, which allows for feminization of this region.
