DIC microscopy images used in: Lenz et al. 2021, "Measuring impacts of microplastic treatments via image recognition on immobilised particles below 100 µm"

The zip file contains two folders with pre- and post-treatment images of the immobilised microplastic particles. The csv file provides the polymer types that were applied to each wafer.

The pdf file shows overview of all evaluated images in the same arrangement as in the quantitative heatmap figure in the manuscript. The thumbnails are placed on top of the coloured tiles of the count loss heatmap (non-corrected). In each tile the respective image pair is shown with the pre- and post-treatment condition placed in the upper and the lower half, respectively.
