Cultural use by people with an immigrant background 2023

The Norwegian Cultural Barometer is a series of publications based on Statistics Norway's survey on the use of cultural activities. The purpose of the survey is to map out the populations use of different cultural events, what cultural offerings different groups of the population attend, as well as measuring individuals own participation in different cultural activities. This includes cinema visits, consumption of literature and library visits, theater and preforming arts, museum visits, concerts and festivals, sport events and religious meetings.

The cultural use survey 2023 among people with an immigrant background forms the basis for the publication. In the survey, a representative sample of people with an immigrant background answered questions about their use of cultural activities. The sample consisted of immigrants and Norwegian-born to immigrant parents, aged 9 years and older.
