Average diameter of inhibition zones of the bacteria tested after 24 hours.

Zones of inhibition formed around the discs impregnated with either 250 μg/μL or 500 μg/μL crude prodigiosin extract were measured and recorded. Inhibition of bacterial growth was interpreted as a positive inhibition when compared to the corresponding inhibition zone from chloramphenicol treatment. Data are presented as averages and standard deviations (n = 3).
