Genomic Sequencing of Fecal Isolates from Autistic or Healthy Children

This study investigates the gut microbiota of autistic or healthy children through genomic sequencing. The aim is to identify and analyze specific bacterial strains that may influence the gut-brain axis, as well as Autism spectrum disorder-related metabolic and immune pathways. Additionally, the project focuses on isolating and characterizing probiotics from the fecal microbiota of healthy children to better understand their role in maintaining gut health and overall well-being.
