资源简介:
Act 2 Will. IV. c.51, empowered His Majesty to make Regulations and establish the Fees to be taken or received by the Judges, Officers and Practitioners in the Vice Admiralty Courts. Rules, Regulations and standard Fees were subsequently established by the King's Order in Council dated 27 June 1832. The Table of Fees was not amended until the passage of the new Rules and Regulations of 1883. These volumes give the following information: name of vessel, names of proctors (attorneys), amount owing to the Judge and amount owing to the Registrar. The date the fees became due, the total amount outstanding and the date the fees were paid are also frequently noted. The nature of the fees due is also indicated (eg. for the examination of witnesses, filing of documents, pronouncing decrees, etc.). Most entries are crossed out - presumably an indication that the fees had been paid. 1876-80, 1894 (5/2893, 1/2812 part). 2 vols (part). Note: This description is extracted from Concise Guide to the State Archives of New South Wales, 3rd Edition 2000.
