Cell Reports; Nychyk et al 2021; Figure 2; Protein quality and quantity influence the effect of dietary fat on weight gain and tissue partitioning via host-microbiota changes

This experiment was done to analyze the impact of dietary macronutrients on tissue partitioning. In total we used 18 different diets and tested these in males of one mouse strain (C57BL/6). This file contains the correlation between body weight and tissue weights of male C57BL/6 mice. Linear regression analysis was conducted between individual tissues and body weight. The tissue weights were measured at dissection at the end of the experiment. Dietary treatments consisted of three different levels of dietary fat (20, 40 and 55% by energy) combined with three different levels of protein (10, 20 and 30% by energy) with either casein (CAS) or whey protein isolate (WPI). Regression coefficients (R2) and p-values are listed for each comparison and these individual values presented as heatmap in Figure 2B.
