"Heads Up Girls!" A Training Intervention to Improve Scanning Behavior in Youth Female Football

The dataset presented here was used for the statistical analyses described in the publication (DOI: XY). This study investigates the effects of a five-week scanning-focused training intervention on scanning behavior of U19 female football players. Additionally, the study assessed whether these effects maintained in a retention test three weeks after the training intervention.

The dataset includes information from 36 youth female football players from two Swiss U19 women’s national league teams and two U19 grassroots teams. It includes player-specific data, and the number of scans per event (each row corresponds to a single game situation) recorded across three tests (pre, post, retention).

This dataset represents a subset of the data collected in an umbrella study. The detailed experimental protocol and findings of the parent study are documented in XXX.
