The fabricated solar cell samples were characterized by measuring their voltage response against the incident light power. For this experiment, we used a continuous wave laser beam with a wavelength $\lambda=532nm$ with known optical power, collimated and expanded to a diameter of 2 cm, thus overfilling the area occupied by the active regions. The photovoltage generated by the cells was then measured using a voltmeter as a function of input light power, which was varied from 1 mW to 100 mW. The data are fitted with a logarithmic curve. The dataset also contains the raw images acquired by a CCD camera and by the elements of the solar cell device. The data were acquired keeping the power of the CW laser constant and changing the images on the Spatial Light Modulator, as described in the article. Spreadsheet can be opened with Excel, whereas the files in the compressed archives can be opened with python.
