This repository contains two geo-referenced plague datasets with year and place names of locations reporting a plague outbreak during the second and the beginning of the third plague pandemic. These datasets are new digitisations of two published plague treatises: Biraben, J.-N. 1975 <em>Les hommes et la peste en France et dans les pays européens et méditerranéens</em>. Paris, Mouton.
