Cancer cells adapt to various stress conditions by optimizing gene expression profiles via transcriptional and translational regulation. Previously, we revealed that EXOSC9, a component of the RNA exosome complex, is essential for cancer cell growth during hypoxia. However, whether and how EXOSC9 regulates adaptation to other stress conditions and tumorigenicity in cancer cells remain unclear. To address this, we evaluated the impact of EXOSC9 on transcriptome in human breast cancer MDA-MB-231 cells.
