This dataset contains anonymized building energy simulation (BES) outputs and derived corpus variables used in the study “Early-Stage Thermal Risk Diagnosis in High-Altitude Andean Residential Buildings: An Exploratory Envelope-Based Alert Matrix and Post-Simulation Discomfort Ratio”.
The dataset corresponds to residential building simulation cases from Loja, Ecuador, classified under NEC Climate Zone 3. It includes anonymized case identifiers and technical variables used to analyze thermal discomfort direction, including window-to-wall ratio (WWR), surface-to-volume ratio (S/V), air changes per hour (ACH), opaque wall thermal transmittance (U-wall), unsatisfied heating hours (Hcal), unsatisfied cooling hours (Href), Discomfort Ratio (DR), and thermal discomfort pattern classification.
All cases are reported using alphanumeric identifiers only. No student names, personal identifiers, academic grades, occupant data, or individually identifiable information are included. The dataset is provided to support transparency, reproducibility, and verification of the analysis reported in the associated manuscript.
