1.5-million year ice-sheet model results and model code: Supplement to Scherrenberg et al. (2025)
收藏资源简介:
Model results and code as supplement for Scherrenberg et al. (2025). Results contain ice-sheet model results covering the Northern Hemisphere ice-sheet evolution of the past 1.5 million years. Model code: Model code is stored in IMAU-ICE_code.zip. Please note that running the model requires additional datasets, these include: CO2 (Bereiter et al., 2015; Yamamoto et al., 2022), climate forcing (PMIP4 database: https://esgf-node.ipsl.upmc.fr/search/cmip6-ipsl/TS9, last access: 16 August 2024), insolation (Laskar et al., 2004, Tzedakis et al., 2017), initial topography (ETOPO: https://doi.org/10.7289/V5C8276M, Amante and Eakins, 2009; BedMachine: https://doi.org/10.5067/5XKQD5Y5V3VN, NSIDC,2024), basal friction (Gowan et al., 2019; Laske and Masters,1997) Model results: The results*.zip contain the results of ice-sheet model simulations that cover the past 1.5 million years, as well as the settings/configuration file used to conduct the simulations. 2D-fields are stored in the help_fields netcdf files. 1D-scalars of global variables are stored in scalar_output_global.nc. The 1D-scalars of individual ice sheets are stored in scalar_output_NAM/EAS/GRL, where NAM is North America, EAS is Eurasia, and GRL is Greenland.
