WE DESCRIBED AND IDENTIFY SCORPOIONS IN GUANAJUATO MEXICO, WE EVALUATED THE VENOM OF CLINICAL EFFECTS IN MOUSE AND RATS, ALSO WE EVLUATED THE VENOM OF NON TOXIC SCORPIONS. MEDICAL IMPORTANCE OF SCORPIONS IN GUANAJUATO MEXICO

In the state of Guanajuato two species of medical importance, C. ornatus and C. infamatus are recorded. In a study conducted during 2006-2012, 175.975 cases were reported, with an incidence of 3541.90 and a mortality rate of 9 persons per 100,000 habitants for the state of Guanajuato. Although toxins are described several scorpions of the genus Centruroides is important to see its effect in a model organism to learn more about the complications and effects of poison. In this study mice and rats Mus musculus BALB / c strain/IWINSTARE were used for bioassays on these under the effects of venom C. infamatus one species of medical importance in the state of Guanajuato.
