Energy saving in production processes is one of the main concerns of companies to ensure their competitiveness and sustainability. Solutions to reduce energy consumption in the supply chain have been studied by many authors. In this comparison, we present some relevant recent works dealing with the different problems of inventory management with consideration of sustainability (energy and environmental aspects).
