Dataset of Financial Literacy University Students in Mexico

The survey was administered to university students at Universidad del Valle de México and aimed to analyze the level of financial literacy and the factors associated with young people's economic decision-making. The instrument was based on the methodology proposed by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD, 2022) and on the theoretical approach to financial literacy developed by Annamaria Lusardi and Olivia S. Mitchell. The survey collected information on financial knowledge, financial behavior, attitudes toward money, mathematical skills, savings, access to credit, and the sociodemographic characteristics of the participants.
