THE ISSUE OF PRESERVING SOCIO-HISTORICAL AND PSYCHO-EMOTIONAL COLOR IN UZBEK TRANSLATIONS OF KHALED HOSSEINI'S WORKS

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the issue of preserving socio-historical and psycho-emotional color in the process of translating the works of Khaled Hosseini, one of the prominent representatives of contemporary world literature, into the Uzbek language. The study examines the challenges of reproducing the national setting, historical reality, cultural features, and the inner psychological experiences of characters through translation. In addition, practical approaches are analyzed based on theoretical concepts such as equivalence, adequacy, and functional correspondence in translation.
