A dataset of 135127 SNPs across 311 spinach accessions for Stemphylium leaf spot resistance

This study was to evaluate the worldwide USDA spinach germplasm collections and commercial cultivars for resistance to Stemphylium vesicarium pathogen, perform genome-wide association studies (GWAS) to identify the genomic regions (alleles) associated with the resistance, and standardized genomic selection (GS) models with improved prediction performance. GWAS and GP were performed in 311 spinach accessions with 135,127 SNPs.
