Time series of membrane/secretory IgM repertoire of rainbow trout following vaccination with TNP-KLH

Few studies have explored how vaccination alters the B-cell receptor repertoire following vaccination of rainbow trout. In this study, we vaccinated twenty fish with TNP-KLH and explored how the IgM (membrane and secretory) repertoire was altered over the course of 16 weeks. At each time point, five fish were sacrificed and B-cells from the blood, kidney, and spleen were used for analysis. Additionally, prior to vaccination, peripheral blood from each fish was used to serve as a proxy for baseline repertoire structure.
