Images document microremains from human dental calculus and controls at N!oma, Taukome, Xaro. Contents Dental calculus (exterior & interior): grass phytolith short-cells (Panicoideae, Chloridoideae, Pooideae), trichomes, long-cells, papillae; eudicot plates/blocky; palm-type spheroid echinates; fibres, fungal debris, microcharcoal; rare/fragmented starch candidates. Controls: negative lab blanks; archaeological adhesives/bone with aggregated Triticeae starches (contamination reference).
