The TelCovACT dataset was created by research teams from HTW Berlin – University of Applied Sciences Berlin and Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences Berlin for Social Work and Social Education. It contains 3,663 German Telegram messages collected between March 2020 and December 2021. This dataset focuses on online antisemitic content and conspiracy theories during the COVID-19 pandemic. During its development, the research teams formulated detailed annotation guidelines to ensure the dataset's quality and applicability. Its primary application scenarios center on the automated detection and classification of online antisemitic content and conspiracy theories, providing data support for anti-discrimination organizations and researchers to address discrimination and hate speech in online environments.
