<i>Time series of bivalves </i><i>δ</i>^<em>13</em><i>C from 32 sites were used to study global effect from large-scale anthropogenic and natural climate proxies over the period 1981-2021. This dataset revealed decreasing </i><i>δ</i>^<em>13</em><i>C trends in all sea regions, mainly linked with Suess effect (i.e. increased atmospheric CO2 concentrations from anthropogenic activities) and climate effects (increased temperature).</i><i>See Metadata file for more information about the dataset, project and authors. </i>
