Replication Package for 'Energy Transition, Competitiveness and Growth: Evidence from Greece and Belgium using a Recursive VAR' (Vafiadakis & Stravelakis, 2025)

The following folder (and its ZIP form) contains the complete replication package of our analysis (Data, Diagnostics, RVAR, IRF, Bootstrap, Robustness check).

The viewer is recommended to start with the README.txt file, and proceed with the 'code' file, which contains the code divided in clear steps. In parallel, with the automated ETL pipeline and data manipulation of 'step_0', viewer could confirm the procedure in the 'manual verification' excel files, and the raw data that 'step_0' has produced in 'ouput' folder, along the produced figures.

Note: Stationarity tests were contacted via EViews9, any future replication attempt should use the 'Data_manipulation-Manual_verification' in Excel, or the raw data produced by 'step_0', also, in Excel, and run the test as displayed in detailed in the manuscript.
