This archive contains daily Santa Ana Wind Regional Index derived from the dynamically-trained statistical downscaling of winds from the NCEP/NCAR Reanalysis 1 (SAWRI.R1D.rdat) as well as from eight Global Climate Models (SAWRI.gcmname.rdat). SAWRI.R1D spams from 1948 to 2012 and SAWRI.gcmname run from 1950 to 2100. The projection period (2006-2100) was forced under a RCP8.5 in all GCMs.
