Annexations

Polygon layer of the City of Johnson City municipal annexations from the core area (1886-1959) through present. Annexations are added as they are Passed by City Commission after third reading. There was a 30 day wait time before the annexation was official. Annexation laws changed in 2015 to allow annexation to be official as soon as approved. Annexations will always be updated within the week after approved by City Commission (meeting almost always on a Thursday).
