Replication data for: generative artificial intelligence and higher-paying jobs in an agent-based macroeconomic model

This repository provides a reproducible computational framework to analyze the macroeconomic effects of generative AI within a demand-led Kaleckian agent-based model. It includes the full model implementation (LSD platform) and Monte Carlo simulation setup, as well as precomputed datasets and an RMarkdown workflow for reproducing all figures and tables. The package supports two replication paths: (i) full replication by running the agent-based model and generating simulation data, and (ii) quick replication using the provided datasets for immediate reproduction of results. This structure ensures both transparency of the model dynamics and accessibility for users interested primarily in the empirical outputs.
