C4N3OH7·Zn(H2O)HPO4, built up from 4-rings of ZnO2(H2O)N and HPO4 tetrahedra, is the first neutral, molecular, zincophosphate cluster. The unit-cell packing involves numerous O−H···O and N−H···O hydrogen bonds and π···π stacking interactions.
