The strains S. pastorianus CBS 1503 (known as S. monacensis), CBS 1513 (known as S. carlsbergensis), CBS 1538 and WS 34/70 (known as weihenstephan strain) have been recently sequenced and assembled, but no annotation has been published. Our group developed a new user-friendly open-source tool, HybridMiner, to functionally annotated by predicting the parental alleles and including the paralogs in those hybrid aneuploid genomes.
