South West Collaboration for a biodiversity hotspot - Bunbury Winter to Spring

This project will deliver tangible and visible outcomes for the environment in the South West of WA, while providing participants with an interesting assortment of on-ground activities and training in valuable environmental management skills. Work will centre around the proposed high profile Preston River to Ocean Regional Park, Leschenault Community Nursery, Roelands Village, Blackwood Basin Group’s Waterbird project and various works in the Bridgetown-Greenbushes area. Between them, the sites contain nationally listed Declared Rare Flora, threatened fauna, Nationally listed Threatened Ecological Communities and Weeds of National Significance.
