Dataset related to the article "A Mars regolith simulant prototype (P_TO_MARS-1) exploiting the Piedmont (NW Italy) geology"

This dataset consists of three files:
- Excel File "Dimensional Distribution P_TO_MARS-1": includes the distribution analysis of the regolith simulant sample, providing a list of data related to the dimensional distribution, summary statistics and fractal model for both the magnification used in the study (200x and 2000x).

- Excel File "Tables refined cells VS reference cells": includes the refined cells from the PXRD analysis, compared with the reference cells.

- Word File "SEM-EDXS analysis P_TO_MARS-1": includes the SEM-EDXS chemical spectra of the mineral species previously detected in the PXRD analysis of the regolith simulant sample, along with two sample images on which the P_TO_MARS-1 simulant particles were measured.
