资源简介:
Ground temperature was measured at 8 sites located in different landscape settings across Goldstream Valley, Fairbanks, Alaska between 2015 and 2020 to characterize the temperature regime in the upper 1.5 meters of the ground in the discontinuous permafrost area. Air temperature and the temperature at the ground surface and at three additional depths (typically at 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5 meter depth) were measured every two hours and averaged daily. These data allow determination of the permafrost spatial distribution in this area, the permafrost stability, and the reaction of permafrost to climatic warming observed during the last 5 years. The used ground temperature profiler is consisted of the one U12-006 or UX120-006M 4-channels HOBO data loggers and four TMCx-HD thermistor temperature sensors (Onset Computer Corp, Cape Cod, Massachusetts) installed at different depths between the ground surface and 1.5 meter depth (Cable et al., 2016).
