RNA-Seq analysis of cytoplasmic and nuclear fractions from SARNP depleted cells and control cells

RNA-Seq was performed to identify cellular mRNAs that are dependent on SARNP protein for their nuclear export. The expression of endogenous SARNP protein was knocked down by transfection of siRNAs that target SARNP (samples named KD). Control cells were transfected with control siRNAs (samples named WT). RNA-Seq was performed using RNA from cytoplasmic and nuclear fractions from SARNP depleted cells or control cells. Samples were sequenced on the Illumina HiSeq 2500 with paired end 150 bp reads.
