Research on understanding the utilization of DAAs by deep-sea microbial communities, and their potential shifts in response to the high hydrostatic pressure and nutrient availability, are still in infancy. Therefore, our study aims to address this gap by investigating shifts in microbial community composition across a gradient of pressure conditions and exploring potential microbial interactions and networking within these communities under different media conditions supplemented of D- verses L-amino acids as sole carbon and nitrogen sources.
