Lycium ruthenicum isolate:QHQ1 Genome sequencing and assembly

Lycium ruthenicum, a medicinal plant from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, has been under-researched due to limited genomic data, constraining studies on its evolution and fruit color differentiation. We assembled a chromosome-level genome (QHQ1) of 2.37 Gb, covering 99.1% of the predicted genome. The N50 contig length was 107.9 Mb 17 telomeres, and three centromeres were predicted in 12 pseudo-chromosomes.
