资源简介:
In this study, the anticoccidial efficacy of quinfamide mixed with feed was evaluated in weaned rabbits. To assess this efficacy, various productive parameters were analyzed, including oocyst counts in feces. The presented tables display the results for the following indicators: body weight (BW), daily weight gain (DWG), feed intake (FI), feed conversion ratio (FCR), and oocyst count per gram of feces (OPG). The treatments were administered daily, starting on the first day post-weaning and continuing for 14 consecutive days. Data were recorded in spreadsheets and subsequently analyzed using statistical methods. The 14-day treatment duration was selected to ensure coverage of at least two potential life cycles of the coccidia species affecting rabbits. At the end of the treatment period, improvements were observed in the productive parameters of the quinfamide-treated groups, aligning with the study's initial expectations. Furthermore, these groups showed a delayed and reduced oocyst shedding in feces compared to the untreated groups. (2024-10-11)
