Another round of bad weather swept France’s Atlantic coast, causing floods in the south-west of the country. Powerful winds hit the French west coast starting on Tuesday evening (10 December) and battering the entire Atlantic coast with heavy rain through Friday (13 December). Meteo France issued flood alerts and warned the population on dangerous tidal levels. Five departments in the south-western part of the country have been put on orange alert for rain-flooding.<br>
