Detail data analysis

This dataset contains thematic analysis data collected from 25 low-skilled Bangladeshi migrant workers residing in Selangor, Malaysia. The research explores migrants’ experiences of acculturation stress, challenges of cultural adaptation, and their use of social media as a coping mechanism. The dataset is organized as follows: Analyzed data in Excel: Thematically coded according to major patterns identified through manual coding. Each row represents a participant, and columns reflect thematic categories such as language barriers, cultural differences, emotional stressors, occupational challenges, and coping strategies. All personally identifiable information has been removed to ensure anonymity. The data provides rich insights into the psychosocial adjustment of migrant workers in the host country and is valuable for further research in migration studies, discourse and communication, and cross-cultural psychology.
