We provide the particle tracer and black hole (BH) horizon data obtained from two binary neutron star (BNS) simulations performed with IllinoisGRMHD. The first dataset, MissingLink_gammalaw_particle_data.tar.bz2, contains data from a magnetized, equal-mass BNS simulation of the missing link initial data. The equation of state (EOS) used was a simple gamma-law with Gamma=2. The second dataset, Magnetized_equalmass_BNS_LS220_particle_data.tar.bz2, contains data from a magnetized, equal-mass BNS simulation that employs an advanced, tabulated EOS—LS220. Both simulations have gone through inspiral, merger, and the formation of a remnant hypermassive neutron star that eventually collapses to a BH.
