Simulated and Field-Measured Datasets for Leaf-Level Equivalent Water Thickness Retrieval from Hyperspectral Remote Sensing

This dataset contains both simulated and field-measured data used in the study of leaf-level equivalent water thickness (EWT) retrieval from hyperspectral remote sensing. The simulated dataset is generated using a physically based radiative transfer model to represent vegetation spectral responses under varying biochemical and structural conditions. The SHB dataset consists of field-measured hyperspectral reflectance and corresponding leaf water content observations collected in situ for model calibration and validation. These datasets support the development and evaluation of a transfer learning–based framework for hyperspectral inversion of vegetation water content. The data can be used for benchmarking radiative transfer modeling, machine learning inversion methods, and hyperspectral vegetation analysis.
